As a biography, Andrew “Randy” Kwasniewski was 55 years old. His career began in 1974, when he worked for Hyatt resorts and later, for Doubletree and Wyndam hotels. From January 2004 to May 2005, Kwasniewski worked at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas as the vice president of operations. he was an executive with more than thirty years of experience in the business. In October of 2006, he was appointed president of Hard Rock Holdings, LLC.
TMZ reports that the president of Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel was discovered dead by his wife this morning in the home in Las Vegas. Law enforcement say that he apparently shot himself, suffering a gunshot wound to the head.
Even though police did not confirm that the victim was, in fact, Andrew Kwasniewski, reporteldy a company official did confirm his death. It is said that police repsonded to the unfortunate phone call made from the home at approximately 9:50 a.m.
An investigation by the Las Vegas police is now being conducted and they are apparently treating his death as a suicide.
A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel issued a statement after learning the news:
“We are extremely saddened by the loss of Randy, and our hearts and prayers go out to the family. We do not know any further details at this time.”
